Hello, I’m Anne Vandycke, a Photographer and Contemporary Artist in New York City.

For years I worked in two creative worlds, photography and contemporary art. At first I kept them separate. One behind the camera, the other on canvas.

But the truth is they come from the same place. The same need to express what words cannot reach.

Why I brought it all together

Photography and art are not two separate paths. They are two ways of expressing the same belief: that an image has the power to shift how you feel and how you see the world.

Through photography I create visual experiences shaped by light and emotion for luxury brands, private portrait clients, and select high-profile events.

Through contemporary art I create paintings and fine art photography that invite reflection and transformation. Work that asks you to look beyond the visible.

My work has been exhibited at the National Academy Museum, Sotheby's, the Waldorf Astoria, and Fendi Casa Showroom. Collected in the US and Europe.

Both practices are about the same thing, the moment when perception shifts. When you see something you hadn't noticed before. When you feel something you couldn't name.

My signature concept: Couture & Canvas

Couture & Canvas is where photography and painting merge. An artistic eye and editorial direction applied to every project, brand campaigns, private portraits, or works for a collector's home.
