The paintings in this series are called Pulse, from my latest body of work Beyond Vision, mixed media on canvas. Each piece explores transformation and the energy that continues even through rupture.
Inspired by the chiaroscuro of Caravaggio, the maternal strength of Louise Bourgeois, and the raw tension of Bernardino Mei, where light, shadow, and emotion become inseparable.
For this shoot I brought the model into direct dialogue with the artwork. She wears and moves with rope and plastic, materials that echo the textures of the paintings themselves. The boundary between the art on the wall and the woman in front of it dissolves.
